I am reminded of a conversation (on a rainy day in Uruguay) with Yvonne – wife of our host – who predicted a good day (in spite of the rain) because we were going to spend the day with friends.

Sunday is coming. It will be a good day. Jonathan and Kari have been a part of our fellowship longer than I have been. They both were raised in the Philippines – MKs (Missionary kids). Over the past couple of years, God has been talking to them about returning to the mission field to work in the area of education – teaching MKs.

This Sunday Jonathan will be sharing about what God has been doing in their lives. It will be a good day because we will be reminded of God’s faithfulness. It will be a good day because it is encourageing to watch people grow and follow Christ.

I can’t always look ahead and say that tomorrow or the next will be good days. Each may have good elements or good times but Sunday will be a good day because of one couple’s obedience to God’s call on their lives.

God is faithful – He continues to make Himself known to those who seek Him. He is the one who makes the day a really good day.
